About this listen

Alcatraz Smedry is up against a whole army of Evil Librarians with only his friend Bastille, a few pairs of glasses, and an unlimited supply of exploding teddy bears to help him. This time, even Alcatraz’s extraordinary talent for breaking things may not be enough to defeat the army of Evil Librarians and their giant librarian robots.

Can't wait until the final part

This was a far more engaging book than the prior one. There were some jokes which dragged out a bit but over all this is another solid entry to this series. I'm more than a little curious to experience the conclusion!

Whacky read for the random mood

This book is completely different from other Sanderson books. It is wacky, random and downright goofy. The overall plot is clever, which I really appreciate, but I could do with fewer tangents. The characters are solid and I have blown through the series so I have to say overall is pretty good. I’ll definitely read the last book ASAP.

Narrator

Ramon De Ocampo does a fantastic job of translating a book clearly written to be read in physical form into something that can be fully understood in audio form.

Sanderson returns to form

Sanderson returns to form in this fourth installment of this YA series that nevertheless delighted this adult. The chapter riffing on Hamlet was worth the price of admission. Again, cannot say enough about the amazing narrator of the audio book, Ramon de Ocampo.
