About this listen
Surprising, sensational, inexorable. These are the adventures of Baron Munchausen. See him escape from the jaws of a hungry lion, shoot a stag with cherry stones, climb a beanstalk to the moon, and many other fantastical fables. Each tale is taller than the last as we enter the world of Baron Munchausen.

Story
Many say that capital punishment is inhumane. But is it, in fact, more humane to take away life in one swift stroke, rather than condemn an individual to a lifetime in captivity? Two men place wagers, each backing a different side of the argument. After 15 years, this clumsy bet irrevocably changes their lives forever.

It's just a hideously papered room. At least that's what everybody thought. But when a woman suffering from a nervous condition is housed in the room, things begin to surface from the wallpaper. Things that seem familiar but are best left quiet and undisturbed.

Story
This story coincides with April 30, or May Day's Eve, when it was held that witches met on the Brocken mountain and kept communion with the devil. It is named after St. Walburga, an English nun who helped convert Germans to Christianity in the eighth century. Her feast day coincides with an ancient pagan festival whose rites were intended to give protection against witchcraft. Stoker originally wrote this story to be included in his novel Dracula, but the editor struck it from the original work.
