About this listen

This delightful collection of poems for children has a wide range of subjects. The first poem, "The Word Wizard", tells us all to put our wizard hats on, catch the spinning words, and write them down. Thus, the young listeners are involved from the outset. Some poems could be sung or even danced!

The second poem, "Sunrise", could inspire a painting. These poems, which include the natural world, ancient tales of adventure, and nonsense-type poems, will all stretch the imaginations of their young listeners, their parents, and teachers. "Talking with Dancing Hands" is especially poignant.
