I like the subject and content of the book, but to be honest here, the reader just read it fast, with no intent or emotion in the material being read. He just read and gave the listener no time to digest what was just being said, before spewing out 3 more sentences. With self-help, motivational books, it is important to let the listener chew on a powerful statement, and let it sink in. This is one of the reasons why I prefer the writers reading their own books.

At times I questioned if the reader was human or ai, as there was nothing dynamic with his reading. Other times I just had to shut it off because he was going faster than I could absorb it and I wished that I had purchased the book instead of the audible.

Great Book, Terrible Reader
