About this listen
When Pearl Aster takes a receptionist job at Wolf Motor’s, all she is hoping for is enough money to get out of her parents’ smoothing hold, and away from their rule dominated life. Her upper-class status and its expectations are nothing that she wants now that she’s seen the ugliness it conceals. Yet these rough and rowdy men aren’t like anything she’s ever experienced. Brash, bold, dirty, and completely honest, but still more respectful than the man that she’s expected to marry. Gang or not, she feels closer and safer with them than anyone she’s ever met.
Zeek knew one day he’d find his one true love. But never in his life did he expect it to be in this damn girlie princess hire by his uncle’s bike shop. Her flowery, modest dresses and perfectly styled appearance are just as out of place as she is with his leather and jean clad brothers. But when her life is in danger, all he can think about is protecting her, even if it means exposing her to a closely guarded family secret.
Will the princess be able to walk away from the safety of the castle to chase after the woodsman that she’s falling in love with? And will he be strong enough to protect her from the evils that are tied to her crown if she shows up at his cabin by the woods?

Secrets
Pearl wants her independence from her rich parents. Everything is about appearance, the way she acts, dresses, the best schools, and who to marry.
She secretly gets a job at Wolf automotive so she could move out from under her parents control.
Secrets, lies and an ex who stalks her .
Makes this an interesting story
Michelle Thompson narration is well done.

Opposites attract
This is a beautiful story about Pearl and Zeek. They are from two different worlds but they fit together perfectly. The narration by Michelle Thompson was brilliant. I highly recommend listening to this audiobook.

Slow burn
It’s a nice story dat keeps you captivated dispite the slow pace it sometimes has.
You really feel sorry for the main characters lifestyle , locked in a golden cage. Trying het hardest to get out. An ex-lover desperately trying to keep het in.
As I said, it’s goes slowly, sometimes to slowly just nog dragging.
The wolves can change at wil, but don’t because it’s very energy consuming. That’s weird, for me. The MC tells a story of a wolf shifter, she learned from her grandfather.
Somehow I expected a meeting between the grandfather and the wolf-boyfriend. It never comes. I expected the grandfather to be a wolf himself, or be a descendant of a wolf. But it never comes. To me it feels like something missing.
BUT BUT, it is a very nice story. A good listen.

If Gilmore Girls had Wolves
Imagine that Lorelai/Christopher story you always wanted to see, but with wolves and more drama! This slow burn love story has everything you could want. Over bearing parents, bad boy with the heart of gold vs good guy with problems letting go, motorcycles, families, secrets, misunderstandings... It leaves me wanting another book in a series all about this couple, their families, and how everyone got to where they are. I hope there will be more!
