I really like this series. Every book is intense and has a complicated plot, but not so complicated that it’s difficult to follow.
In this book the term that something is too good to be true is perfect. While working humdrum cases Mac gets an offer to work on a case that pays great and gives him the opportunity to take his family on a much needed vacation. So, like any other person who works hand to mouth he tells his current client that he has to put her job on hold but will pick it up when he returns if still needed. What neither Mac or Karen realize is the nightmare they face or that it will come full circle right back to the client they just put on hold.
Lauren Ezzo does a wonderful job narrating.
This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.
