About this listen
It's a whole new school year, and Joey Pigza is determined to leave his wired ways in the past and be the paying attention, focused, straight-A student he believes he can be. But seated next to him is Bean, a new girl who is in foster care and who happens to have many of the same attention issues Joey has. From day one, Joey can see all the parallels in their behavior, and he's worried that her hyperactive secret sauce is going to tarnish his year.
After a rocky start, and with some help from the school guidance counselor, Joey and Bean realize that they're "double-trouble soul mates who found each other!" And more than that, they might even be long lost siblings who somehow got separated at birth! And if they're long lost siblings, Joey needs to do everything he can to make sure his maybe-sister gets out of foster care and home with a perfecto adoptive family. With appearances by Pablo the wonder dog, Granny, and even Joey’s Mom, this Audible Original will make you think about family and loyalty in a whole new way.
Written and performed by the Award-winning Jack Gantos, the eighth installment of Joey Pigza's antics will make you laugh and warm your heart all at the same time.

Fantastic!
I’ve known some Joey Pigzas in my life. They are generally absolutely like this lovable guy. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Gantos’s writing takes the reader to a front and center of how a creative, smart, excitable kid thinks. I love these books and appreciate very much the writing and reading. Don’t stop Jack! Keep writing!

The missing half of Joey pizza
The book was really funny. I have not read the first other books but this one is still really good. It’s very interesting and it Has a lot of funny chapters. If you don’t wanna hear a spoiler then stop reading. And my favorite part was when they painted their house white and they ate all white food and they dressed up all white and then they only drink milk and white food.

Bravo!!!
I would listen to the entire us tax code if Jack Gantos read it. The way he speaks is absolutely endearing. The story is hilarious and engagingly told.
The Joey Pigza series should absolutely be required reading for K-5 teachers. If they have been trained at all in educating ADD or ADHD students, they have not been trained properly. These kids need a lot more support and a lot less angry apathy than they get.
If you are a parent who has/suspects you have an AD child, this is accurate insight into their little minds. I wish I had had access to Joey's story 20 years ago when my son was an older toddler, and I was just beginning to see that things were probably going to be a little rough. I could have handled it with a bit more strength and grace... and patience.

AMAZEBALLS ( READ THIS NOW )
The way jack talked put the listener into a state of awe all of the words fit perfectly with the scenes, keep writing jack, this book is funny, relatable, sweet, truest beautie, personality, kindness, love, happiness, and sensitivity. It is something that could help parents with AD children it could make a better world for teachers and students it tells true facts and it is a great child safe book (I feel smart writing this because I’m only 10-11 and the words I’m using are long and yeah) anyway I think everyone should read this.
