About this listen
The Blood of the Covenant is Thicker than the Water of the Womb…
After spending months tracking down the mysterious person sending her letters, Emily finds herself face to face with the one person she never thought she’d see again…her mother.
The only problem is her mother is dead.
What started out as seemingly nothing more than a practical joke has turned deadly serious as Emily tries to grapple with the secrets of her family’s past, secrets that refuse to stay buried.
And it seems the more she fights, the more she digs herself in deeper. Cut off from everything she knows, Emily struggles to bring the truth to light.
But if she doesn’t figure out the answer to these riddles before it’s too late, she may never see the light of day, or the people she loves, again.

Great storyline
I have never been disappointed with the books in this series and I am not disappointed with this one. What a storyline and the I did not expect the twist at the end, though I’m not sure what I expected. Alex Sigmore writes an incredible story, and in my humble opinion they are equal to any of the big names. I feel authors like Alex do not get the just do they deserve. I cannot wait until the next case for Emily and the gang.

Story was hard to follow at times
Not overly impressed with the narrator. Story was convoluted and hard to follow times. The main character is whiny
