About this listen
Comprising 8.4 million households, the working rich are exerting a powerful influence on our attitudes and on society. They believe in the benefits of hard work. They believe in investing in themselves and in supporting their values with their pocketbooks. From home security systems to health care, technology to travel, their spending choices are affecting the products that are available to us all.
In the best-selling tradition of Bobos in Paradise and The Millionaire Next Door, The Middle-Class Millionaire is a captivating narrative - part sociology, part aspirational journey into the lives, attitudes, and values of the middle-class millionaires.
Based on extensive surveys and research into more than 3,600 middle-class millionaire households around the United States, this book will reshape our understanding of what it takes to be successful - and how all of us can achieve similar success.

New perspective on a very well covered topic
A nice focus upon the growing group of “working rich”, their habits, views and outsized impact on society

This I agree with 100%
A decade +old, but still great information and statistics, if you are or want to become a millionaire . I am not quite there, but know I am on the right track. Use this as fuel and bolstering to get there yourself.

Ok listen
Points I enjoyed about this book:
-Statistically there are different actions and ways of thinking between the "middle class" and the "middle class millionaire."
-The rich work for the 'poor' in the sense that some technologies and conveniences that were once only available for the rich are now attainable by most.
Some of the other reviewers have compared this to the Millionaire Next Door, and I too prefer the Millionaire Next Door. I found it much more applicable for how to accrue wealth whereas this book is more a commentary on the spread of wealth.

... good stuff
It kind of reminded me of 'The Millionaire Next Door' (which I liked) but more specialized.
They do seem to dwell on a few topics, especially medical.
But, overall I thought it was worth a listen.
