Interesting, but long winded
I think an abridged version of this program would have
been better. The narration is good and the material is
interesting, but when you get about 10 minutes straight
on wardrobe buying advice it gets to be a little much.
Definitely worth a listen though.

Tough to listen to all the way through.
I am a Men's Health Magazine reader and looked forward to the 12 week program on audio. Honestly, I was looking for some information and a lot of motivation. What I got was tons of information but in a format too tedious to get motivated by. When the reader started going down the list of items you should have in a kitchen I lost interest and went to the next disc. Boring. Then the next, Boring. Ad Nauseum... I may look at the print version so I can skim through, but this book is not set up for an audio format.

So far, so good.....
This is an excellent program for guys seeking advice in many areas of life. If you enjoy Men's Health magazine, then you will enjoy this book. I am a few weeks into this program and am very impressed with the way this book is presented. It doesn't seem like the typical "self help" book. It's sort of like the Body for Life book, but a lot better because it is combined with many of lifes other issues. I like this book so much that I wish it could be a weekly subscription! Enjoy.

An invaluable resource for real life betterment.
Your mother may have told you some of this stuff. If she didn't, or if you didn't believe her, this is a MUST read! The rest should have been taught to you by your father. If it wasn't, you will in no way regret having listened. It's an invaluable resource for real life betterment.

Hard to put into practice
Just because there are LONG lists of foods. Would help a lot if they included a pdf file of the recommendations and charts to back up all the talking. Audio is a very inefficient method to transfer the diets and workouts that could be quickly understood using visual aids.
