About this listen

A team of paleontologists finds a mysterious black box embedded in the rock with a nearly complete Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil and some small unidentified bones.
The only logical conclusion was that the animal had eaten an alien visitor, and the still functional box was some advanced technology at least 65 million years old.
A devoutly religious team member convinced the small bones are human leaked the find to a new Earth museum director, who published news of the discovery as proof that man and dinosaurs walked together within the last 6,000 years. The fear of panic in the general population caused by the revelation that the bones were of extraterrestrial origin results in a government coverup directed by the president. When the existence of the black box comes to light, an all-out search for the carefully hidden device by domestic and foreign agents ensues. The story combines science, intrigue, TV evangelism, politics, and humor.
