Story
As it turns out, Buddha had quite a lot to say on the subject of gratitude, including citing it as one of the four keys to the Gate of Heaven. Studies show - and experts counsel - that gratitude is a key component of our happiness. People who are grateful about events and experiences from the past, who celebrate triumphs instead of focusing on losses or disappointments, tend to be more satisfied. Gratitude can help us transform our fears into courage, our anger into forgiveness, our isolation into belonging, and another’s pain into healing.

Then, during a walk in the hills on New Year’s Day, John was struck by the belief that his life might become at least tolerable if, instead of focusing on what he didn’t have, he could find some way to be grateful for what he had.

Thanks for the passion needed
Thank you so much for the wonderful information about attitude and gratitude .There were things stated that I did not think today thank you for .
Example thank you for me, my life, the air , the house, the location. And on and on things that you would not think to say thank you for. And the chapter on forgiving person that have wronged you in the past. That the bad things in our life were a passion for us, not a henderences. Thanks so much for the book information.
