About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin
Live in a clean and clutter-free home forever with the life-changing KonMari Method - now a multi-million copy international best seller.
Transform your home into a permanently clear and clutter-free space with the incredible KonMari Method. Japan's expert declutterer and professional cleaner Marie Kondo will help you tidy your rooms once and for all with her inspirational step-by-step method.
The key to successful tidying is to tackle your home in the correct order, to keep only the things you really love and to do it all at once - and quickly. After that for the rest of your life you need only to choose what to keep and what to discard.
The KonMari Method will not just transform your space. Once you have your house in order, you will find that your whole life will change. You can feel more confident, you can become more successful, and you can have the energy and motivation to create the life you want. You will also have the courage to move on from the negative aspects of your life: you can recognise and finish a bad relationship; you can stop feeling anxious; you can finally lose weight.
Marie Kondo's method is based on a 'once cleaned, never messy again' approach. If you think that such a thing is impossible, then you should definitely listen to this compelling audiobook.

An eye opening revelation of tidying
The book surpassed my expectations. What I thought would be an account and guide of how to tidy up material objects, turned out to be an incredible revelation of why sometimes we seek to tidy up and why we can't manage to keep our things tidied up. The truth of the psychological and spiritual factors reflecting themselves in how we organize our things and lives is crucial before a journey of tidying up. As Marie Kondo says: " ...our true lives start after we tidy..." What an amazing read!

I loved it! It is very enjoyable. Great narrator, good style. I am thankful Mari Kondo has put her experiences compiled and explained in practical and comprehensive manner while explaining the most simple and best method on tidyng. Indeed, one can be able much joy and peace in typing this way in particular. I downloaded this audio book on Friday and have just finished listening to it today. I started using Kon Mari's method right away through the narrative. I have yet to finish the task of tidying but I already feel so refreshed.
I recommend this book 100% I will gladly extend to my parents all that I've learned through this course. Thank you.

Eccentric, woo woo, funny, and wise.
While the book may be termed as flaky and woo woo by some, there's a deep truth, gratitude, respect, and self knowledge embedded in this book. Loved it and loved Kondo's authenticity. Have started KonMari-ing!
