Story
When private investigator Simon Wolfe is hired to follow his friend’s wife under suspicion of adultery, he could never have guessed it would lead him into a friendship with the world’s leading writer, Ernest Hemingway. Nor could he have predicted the strange and disturbing twists the investigation would take. The case accelerates quickly when the wife is found murdered in a Key West hotel and discovered to have a secret life. But that revelation is downright boring as the plot thickens with increasingly bizarre revelations, capped off with a macabre ending no one saw coming.

I loved it. These stories seem to get better with each book. More twists and turns, but Lucius is able to unravel each one. I love his mind and integrity. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review . The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Another Home Run
Once again P.C Hatter takes us on a magical, mystery tour with our favorite P.I, Lucius Anoraq. The new cast of potential baddies are fantastic! As always, Lucius finds himself going from one near miss to another. The way P.C writes his antics and actions are wonderful! He’s a much deeper character than he would give himself credit for. Wise, Wiley and a tad bit crazy. P.C Hatter had me guessing again, all the way to the end! Loved it! Highly recommend all things Hatter!

A Wild Ride of Intrigue and Suspense
Lucius helps a stranger named Robert out of a tight spot one night not knowing that he is putting his life and freedom in jeopardy. Robert and Lucius developed a kind of friendship so when Robert's asked for a favor Lucius obliges only to find out that his wife has been killed. Lucius doesn't believe that Robert had anything to do with the murder so he sets out investigating only to end up in the middle of another case that seems to have some common threads. Are the two cases connected in any way? I really enjoyed this book that is fast paced and full of murder, Intrigue, adultery and a zinger ending that blew my mind. I highly recommend this book and series. This is my honest unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving of my own volition.
