About this listen
The gods are dead. Their age-old reign destroyed by sorcery and war. Queen Ariane must steer her people through the wreckage left behind.
Seeking answers, she sends her journeyman, Sir Garland, to find help from her lost cousin last seen deep in the heart of enemy country. But Garland and his men soon vanish in a maze of witchcraft, illusion, and treachery.
The Journeyman Trilogy combines the novels: The Emerald Queen, The Voyage of Carlo Sarfe, and The Sea God’s Woman in one explosive volume brimmed with swords and sorcery, demons and deviltry. Shedding shades on heroism, fate and what lies beyond.
Pick up this latest epic saga and follow a darker path in the ongoing Legends of Ansu series.

Dark Fantasy - addictive listening
The Journeyman Trilogy,
by J.W. Webb
Dark Fantasy - addictive listening.
This is a great value box set. I have the individual books (ebook and audio), but grouped here it is possible to follow this story arc. I had a chance to binge listen to this box set on a long car trip. It was an immersive and exciting experience - sorcery, treachery, betrayal and heroism. An amazing world. Maps are helpful, and these are available in the ebook if whisper-synched.
Andrew McDermott brings this world to life. I love his brogue and it suits this world of dark fantasy.
Some knowledge of the earlier books and events adds to the richness of this Journeyman Trilogy, but there is enough incidental recapitulation.
Highly recommended and a must read/listen for fans of the world of Ansu.

A 5-star fantasy read
The Emerald Queen: A Legends of Ansu Fantasy, my eightth read from author J.W. Webb. Great characters, non-stop action, a great read/listen, my first read not about Corin an Fol, but written in the same style.
The Voyage of Carlo Sarfe: Sir Garland (Legends of Ansu Book 9), my ninth read from author J.W. Webb. Great characters, non-stop action, a great read/listen, written in the same style as the Corin an Fol tales.
The Sea God's Woman: Sir Garland (Legends of Ansu Book 10), my tenth read from author J.W. Webb. Great characters, non-stop action, a great read/listen, written in the same style as the Corin an Fol tales. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Andrew McDermott’s excellent narration & accent again add to the book's enjoyment. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Very convoluted
Not even close to linear story. I’m a fan, but this so far is not your best work. Voice acting is as always great,
