About this listen

Constantly moving between foster homes as a child, investigator Evelyn Carr has learned to survive on intuition alone. Her world is flipped upside down when she inherits an Antebellum-era mansion in the heart of Georgia. What was thought to be an impossible stroke of luck might very well be the end of Evelyn and those whom she loves.

I was given this book for free from audiobook boom and asked to leave an unbiased review for the author and narrator. I enjoyed this series, but I’m into ghost stories. You definitely need to go in order, none of the 3 books are stand alone. The narrator has a pleasant voice, but she is just reading the book. She makes no attempt to make a production or entertaining story of it like a lot of narrators do.

I liked it

This was a good creepy mystery. I didn't know who the perpetrator was until it was revealed. I enjoyed the journey. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.
