Great but Short

This kept my interest till the end. I like that it wasn't your typical horror story. The Troop is one of my favorite books, so I was excited for this to come out, tho it was a little too short. I just don't understand what the hell Cutter has against turtles? What did they ever do to him? Spoiler alert: This is the second time he's traumatized me with a long, tortuous turtle death.

Not Cutter’s Best

Rather boring compared to Cutter’s other works. I appreciate him trying something new, but too many threads are laid and not picked up, and the ending isn’t nearly as ambiguous as I’d prefer. The narrator is fabulous though, as he always is when reading Cutter’s books.

Splendid, Cerebral Horror

Terrific! Lovecraftian, reminds me a lot of The Croning but with an infinitely better narrator.

no comparison to little Heaven

it's ok. something to listen to while you are on a road trip, or cleaning. Bur for me no need to read it twice or three times like I did with little heaven. I wouldn't pay full price Just saying

Quick and fun jaunt

The Handyman Method is a fun horror jaunt in the style of early Stephen King with lots of body horror and jump scares.

Always well pleased with a Nick Cutter novel

I have read every book by Nick Cutter, and I have never been disappointed. always uniquely twisted and gory, this book was a blast. I listened during a long and stressful week at work, but the book helped to ease the pain and carried me through. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, hell there were parts where my uncontrollable laughter was heard ringing through the hallways of this building I am cleaning, especially the part where Milo was helping his old man out with the eaves. The narrator was spot on and the story was inspiring.... I just might need to get a whole new set of tools..... I will always read a Nick Cutter book!!!!!

Unique build and story, and very nick cutter

I always love reading a new concept to the genre, and I already love each of cutters novels. Creepy, visceral, highly descriptive, and with all the bug/crewpycrawely/maggot ideas you expect from NC.
Win-win-win

Does Nick Cutter hate turtles?

I’m addicted after listening to the Troop. Now, I’m listening to the Handyman Method and I just want to know if Nick Cutter has an issue with turtles? All jokes aside, phenomenal and spine chilling story telling and the narrator is perfect. 100/10
