Story
Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret - at least, that’s what she thinks.... But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well...she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth....

I decided that Orion Lake needed to die after the second time he saved my life. Everyone loves Orion Lake. Everyone else, that is. Far as I’m concerned, he can keep his flashy combat magic to himself. I’m not joining his pack of adoring fans. I don’t need help surviving the Scholomance, even if they do. Forget the hordes of monsters and cursed artifacts; I’m probably the most dangerous thing in the place. Just give me a chance and I’ll level mountains and kill untold millions, making myself the dark queen of the world.

I liked the theme of the story. Especially the dream theme.
I want more thrill and suspense. I don’t want the same energy and emotion through out the book.

This book is one of the best. Lots of twists, I never really knew what was going to happen.

Excellent Story
Though the main character is a young girl, the story is so enjoyable even to this Old Lady! If you would like a wizmical tale of dreams mixed with reality, this is a good read for you. Narrator does a Great job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline. I never listen/read this author before, but will now check into more of her work.
