Good message

If you didn’t already know the importance of adult female friendships before reading this, book, you do now! I love how this book encourages lifting each other up as women, socially and in the work place. It also teaches you how to use empathy in relationships, shows you how to use active listening effectively and the power of vulnerability to deepen friendships. There’s a great section dedicated to prioritizing quality time with girlfriends that we could all be reminded to do more of. It also helps you understand the joys and dangers of friending strangers online, which I think is an important point to consider these days where everything we do is online.

Learning about myself, building connections

I was surprised how much I learned about myself while listening to this wonderful book. I have never been great at meaningful relationships with women. I get along with men better, probably all my time in the military. I found this book to be enlightening and so insightful. I have a better understanding of how and what it takes to make connections with people. I hope to continue to grow personally, leading to female friends.

Empowering Book

This book is GREAT it blends relatable stories with practical advice. Whether you're trying to make new friends as an adult, repair a friendship that’s drifted, or simply deepen the connections you already have, this book delivers with clarity and compassion. It's warm,AND refreshingly honest.
I especially like the sections on setting boundaries, handling conflict with grace, and letting go of friendships that no longer serve you all handled with empathy.

Made Me Rethink How I Show Up for My Friends

Listening to this felt like having an honest convo with a wiser, no BS friend. It didn’t sugarcoat stuff, and that’s what I appreciated most. Some parts hit close, like how hard it can be to build real friendships as an adult. I caught myself nodding a lot and even messaged an old friend mid-way through.
