this series just keeps getting worse.

The first book was a first effort that could be forgiven some pretty egregious choices, like a very cheap VV and absolutely NO editing. First attempts by people using AI assist for writing are always like that. But after listening to their own first product, those factors should have been corrected, But, no.... the author doubles down and does an even worse job in book 2, This book feels like a book devised by a 13 year old ESL student who's just discovered morning wood, but doesn't know what to do with it. Definitely has a "lousy manga" feel to it. The word choices are horrible, with repeating adjectives in many sentences, obvious misspellings that the AI reader can't (because it's cheap) figure out are wrong in the context provided. All in all, without even trying to have the courage to listen to book 3, i know that this downhill trend in quality will continue. There is no greater sin than a poorly executed book, and this series is an abomination.
