What a wonderful book. Not at all what I was expecting. I thought it would be a murder mystery and it was nothing of the sort. I couldn’t put it down. I highly suggest this book!!!

This was a very solid and intriguing story, the plot isn’t common and it was quite interesting and entertaining overall. I wasn’t sure what area of mystery/suspense it was going to be but it is a cross between the movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - (with Kate Winslet and Jim Carey) But minus the love story drama, and the Netflix series Stranger Things - minus the demons/aliens/creatures. I was impressed of how smoothly the story played out especially since I really wasn’t sure what to expect.

It’s like they’re used to narrating safety trainings and don’t know how to switch up the tone for something like this.

Wow how did I miss this book when it was first released. I could not stop listening. I listen to so many books each week often multiple tasking. I could not do that at least not right away. The story was not overly complicated but it was multi layered and complex from the beginning. I had to start over. Wow it’s pretty amazing to say character development was incredible when halfway thru you’re still just hanging on from the pacing and plot twists and still trying to flesh out what the characters are really doing. But all the characters eventually become animated and vivid in their roles and then it all crescendos to an epic end. Definitely recommend, absolutely loved listening to this one.

Narration by both were so good. All the characters had their own unique voice and the narrators portrayed their voices with such genuine emotions.

I really loved this book. The narrators were terrific. The storyline was different than anything I’ve listened to and I really enjoyed it. I can’t say much bc I don’t want to give away any of the storyline but it was a fun listen. I was looking for opportunities to listen and finished the book in just a few short days.

Definitely a number of twists when you least expect it - had me telling "What?" Out loud on multiple occassions. Definitely got sucked in and got through the book much quicker than most audio books I've listened to!
