WHAT THRILLING COCKTAIL.. IT BLEW MY MIND

Wow, what a unique, edgy and compelling journey.. the characters suck you in and the storyline explodes into a suspenseful, tension-filled and emotionally complex rollercoaster. This is not a heroine in a plain ‘either or’ situation whose torn between two brothers story. Skyla first meets kind, caring, drool-worthy Jensen first and, for ten days, they have a blissful relationship but the sexy Marine gets deployed to Afghanistan for six months and, selflessly, doesn’t want Skyla to have to put her life on hold so he ends things. Your heart warms, jumps, hardens, softens, shatters, gets shredded and pounds so fast you consider dialling 911. It breaks with the shocking twisted brutality, the betrayals and the desperate anguish and it eventually slows to a normal beat and melts with all the swoony feels in this epically emotional story of love and hate. The great narration.. the brilliant and uniquely different edge-of-your-seat storyline.. the strong heroine, the worthy heroes and the swoons, tears, twists, conflicts and deep love definitely make this an unforgettable, and yes creditworthy, listen.

Oh Holy... WOW!!!

I can't find the words to express my feelings for this book or even the words to describe this book. The only word that comes to mind is, "Wow".

Having gone into this book completely blind I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I thought I was going to get a sweet romance about a girl who was having a hard time choosing between brothers... Oh no. I got the opposite and in a delicious way. It's a story about a dangerous serum and a love triangle that leads to loss and betrayal.

Don't let the idea of an emotional rollercoaster scare you away from this one. It is worth all the emotions.

Audio Review: I listened to this one and let me tell you, the performances of Jason Clarke, Aaron Shedlock, and Kylie Stewart added another edge and more emotions than if you were to read it yourself. Aaron and Kylie were fantastic on this audio. I could go on and on about these two. But Jason... oh boy. This has to be his best audiobook to date. It is definitely a favorite of mine by him, Aaron, and Kylie. 100% recommend this audiobook.

Talk about an emotional roller coaster!

Wow. This one took me on a ride. Up and down. In and out. But every moment was incredible. Ryleigh is an epic world builder. The love triangle. The emotions. The suspense. I hung on every word and in the end I cried happy tears. The casting was over the top amazing. Each perfect for their role. Thank you Ryleigh for yet another amazing journey!!

** Edgy, Emotional and Evocative **

Ryleigh Sloan leaves you sitting on the edge of seat right through to the very end! The twists and turns just keep on coming.
The evocative and emotional performances of Jason Clarke, Kylie Stewart and Aaron Shedlock are the icing on the cake.
A great read for lovers of suspenseful, military romance, and/or love triangles.

Don´t forget to Breathe! Awesome story & narration

Oh my god! Where to start! I had to tell myself to breathe a few times as there was so much anxiety and suspense in this book that I kept holding my breath and forgot to exhale. I frequently thought, ok, the storyline is giving me a break but then bam another blow. This dark edge of your seat-worthy romantic suspense combined with thrilling angst sends you on a deep emotionally filled rollercoaster. My heart was racing and crying out at the same time! There are so many feelings and so much I want to say but I try to keep it shortish.

Rayleigh Sloan broke me, oh did this story ever pull on my heartstrings and yes there were tears! My feelings swayed from sad, to anger to right out loathing towards some characters. Her words were torture to my heart and soul but in the best possible way. There are totally swoon-worthy moments in this story too. I loved what the author did with this story. Seriously what a damn good book, brilliant storyline, engaging characters and heart-gripping entertainment with an ALL.THE.FEELS cast of perfect voices who brought this incredible military love triangle to life!
Speaking of love triangles, I never really know how the author is going to untangle the situation but this one was so well done! I am still stupefied by how this story developed and was wrapped up.

This story is about Skyla who is emotionally connected to two men, brothers, Trent & Jensen, and captured by the feelings she has for each one. A series of unexpected and shocking events are turning their life´s upside down and re-shuffling everything. It shows how grief & emotional torture can make people do unspeakable things specially enhanced with experimental drugs. It really is the dark side of chemistry no matter if this chemistry is born out of love or a serum.

The story is told in 3 different POV´s by Kylie Stewart = Skyla, Jason Clarke = Jenson & Aaron Shedlock = Trent. All three narrators get the highest praise as the performance was simply stunning, emotional, and believable. The setting, the mood, the feelings they conveyed. Perfection all-round!

Holy Macoroni!!! What did I just read and listen to? This is incredible, intense, suspenseful and messy emotional roller coaster Military romance! And yes, I loved every minute of it!!!!! I had this in my TBL list for a long time and I regret not reading/listening right away, once it came out!!! Well, it is about a girl Skyla whose torn between two brothers. She meet first Jensen but after 3 years later (fast forwarding it) she end up with his brother, Trent instead. As they are both in the marines, both were deployed to Afghanistan for six months but man, oh man, it was quite compelling journey for all 3 of them.
Trent being there to do a top secret experimental serum in the lab and his brother, Jensen, to keep the team up float was pretty much their mission. However, things gone wrong in the lab and that gave plenty of consequences for everyone else. I don’t want to say much but as a reader/listener, I was hooked. I was extremely on edge on each page as well being swoon off my feet with both men (more so than the other) to twists and turns, to conflicts of what true love is. Yup, it was one of those re-shuffling everything inside out with this love story. Oh, yes, THE TWIST, THE TWIST WAS BRILLIANT ON THE AUTHOR’S PART!!! She did quite well on writing the scenery and furthermore, wrote mixed feelings that oozes out word by word. It was truly a dark side of “love” chemistry!

The most utterly respect & most highest recommendation told in 3 different POVs, Kylie Stewart, Jason Clarke, & Aaron Shedlock. These 3 can’t be beat for their performance “as one” in this book at all. Such poise, effortless, and believable characters were given by their voices!!!

So, you want something out of the box storyplot, this is it!

Ten Hours of Misery

Not sure why this story is categorized under romance just because the characters have sex. The female narrator is among the worst I’ve ever heard. Robotic and mispronouncing even the most simple of words. Clarke and Shedlock can usually make reading the phone book entertaining but the story is just so flimsy, poorly worded and miserable. The whole thing is a sad and winless situation that is a chore to get through. I wouldn’t risk purchasing another title from this author.
