About this listen
USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Judith Lucci delivers an explosive thriller featuring retired Richmond homicide detective Michaela McPherson and her retired K9 Angel who will stop at nothing to find her best friend’s missing daughter before it is too late. Is she the victim of a human trafficking ring?
Allison, newly graduated from dental hygiene school, never returned following a job interview with Dr. Dude, the local celebrity dentist, but police have no evidence to charge him, and she is officially a missing person.
A missing young woman with diabetes needs insulin or she will die!
Michaela knows Dr. Dude is involved, but can’t prove her theory without help from her K9 Angel and her friend, the immensely wealthy Countess Dorothy Borghase.
Will they find Allison in time?

A Woman of Valor Novel
“Judith Lucci can paint pictures with words very deftly without need of gutter language to convey raw reality. Top-level author, from whom I need to read more. Her characters are razor sharp, and her descriptions make me feel a part of the book.”

Horrible Narration
OMG- this is A-I narration. I thought i would give it a try. Vocal intonations are all the same no matter what is happening in the story. Pauses are not appropraite for the narrative. All accents, Russian, Southern are the same. It is hard to listen too, which is a shame because I think the story may have been good. If I see narrated by Virtual Voice again, I won't order.
