Dr. Bob Arnot
About this listen
During the past several years, doctors at leading institutions across the nation have been investigating the relationship between breast cancer and diet: confirming that what a woman eats can have a dramatic impact on whether or not she contracts the disease. In The Breast Cancer Prevention Diet, Dr. Bob Arnot has synthesized this research into an eating program that finally enables women to fight back. Designed for women, the diet offers valuable information that will address your particular needs.

Story
After being given a terminal diagnosis with only a few weeks to live, Jane McLelland dug up research, some decades old, in her quest to survive. Rather than aiming to cure cancer, which in many cases is unachievable, Jane's approach was to stop it growing. Remarkably, her approach not only stopped it growing, it disappeared altogether. There are now clinics following her protocol, achieving remarkable successes.

Story
Most women don't want to hear about breast cancer unless they have it and need to make some decisions, but these days news about breast cancer - the number one killer of women ages 20 to 59 - is everywhere. Hope for a cure abounds. Celebrities have come forward to share their experiences and raise awareness. Chances are you know someone who has had it. But did you know that you make choices every day that bring you closer to breast cancer - or move you farther away? That in the majority of cases, cancer isn't up to fate, and there are ways to reduce your risk factors? That many of the things you've heard regarding the causes of breast cancer are flat-out false?

Story
There is nothing more essential to our health and well-being than breathing. Yet, as a species, humans have lost the ability to breathe correctly, with grave consequences. Journalist James Nestor travels the world to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. The answers aren’t found in pulmonology labs, as we might expect, but in the muddy digs of ancient burial sites, secret Soviet facilities, New Jersey choir schools, and the smoggy streets of São Paulo. Nestor tracks down men and women exploring the hidden science behind ancient breathing practices.

Story
One out of 3 women will experience some form of cancer in their life time. I was one of those statistics even though I was living a healthy lifestyle that consisted of organic foods, regular exercise, massage, Chiropractic care and colonics. How could somebody like me develop Breast Cancer? That very question led to thousands of hours of research, study, soul-searching and prayer. It all came together as The 7 Essentials – 7 basic steps that are necessary for preventing and healing cancer, or any dis-ease for that matter.

Full of Great Cancer Preventing Information
As a Breast Cancer survivor I really appreciate having all this scientifically based Breast Cancer information on how to eat (using food as preventative medicine) to protect against a reoccurrence. However I wish I’d known all this sooner so I could have prevented this in the first place! Thankfully this book is not simply a list of things to avoid. It is full of all the good things we should be eating more of, and healthy options to give your body the best possible chance at a long healthy life. It is not just cancer survivors who should be following this type of diet. I believe we all should and could benefit from eating this way through out our entire lifetime.
