Druids are defined by what they do, and this book offers many ways to put Druidic theory into action. Explore what it means to talk with trees, answer the call of wild awakening, honor the ancestors, and work with deities. Use prayer, meditation, and ritual to expand your awareness, develop relationships with the unseen, and engage with elemental powers. Story
Celtic mythology, Arthurian romance, and an intriguing interpretation of British history - these are just some of the themes embraced by the anonymous authors of the eleven tales that make up the Welsh medieval masterpiece known as The Mabinogion. They tell of Gwydion the shape-shifter, who can create a woman out of flowers; of Math the magician whose feet must lie in the lap of a virgin; of hanging a pregnant mouse and hunting a magical boar.

Story
To the ancients, the goddess Hekate symbolized the inner journey back to the soul. Indeed, ancient philosophers identified her as Anima Mundi, the "soul of the world." As such, she connects many archetypes associated with the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. From her role as protector of roadways to her power as the bringer of death, she offers us keys for healing. Incorporating her personal experiences with those of her students, Cyndi Brannen weaves a supporting circle around the listener as they start their path towards soulful living, culminating in rebirth.

informative and insightful
I recieved a signed copy of this book from Kristoffer himself. That inspired me to read the book right away. This book helped me reach a deeper understanding of my journey in life and the path of druidry. It's a must read for those who would like a truer understand of their relationship with the other.

Fabulous information - narrator - meh
Kristoffer Hughes is a powerhouse author and Druid. His genius is in his ability to convey deep mysteries to his readers in a poetic and inspired manner. It’s very unfortunate that Llewellyn will not let him narrate his own books. This narrator mispronounces the welsh and other Celtic words and phrases. In such an important work it’s frustrating that such mispronunciation is present. Get this audio, but do not rely on the pronunciation.
