A Telling Story
I see The Amazonian Abyss by B. E. Lockwood as one for a young audience. This story tells more than it shows, which some readers might enjoy. There is an adventure and some mystery, but it lacks an emotional connection with characters that could have made it compelling. I enjoyed Kristen Saburn's (narrator) straightforward voice for this book's genre. I suggest a listening speed of 1.35 for this audiobook.

Flat to much tell and not enough show.
This seemed to me to be agenda driven. To much tell and not enough show. very little dialog between characters. could benefit from better character development and more engaging backstories for the characters. The story line is interesting but could have been presented better. The were some parts that seem to be AI generated. I have nothing against AI, you just dont want it to sound like AI.
