About this listen
Once bitten, twice shy.
Rafe Blackstone may play the sexiest werewolf superhero to ever melt a woman's...heart...on the big screen, but Lily Hollander has already been bitten once by an actor, and once was enough. When she's fooled all over again, it's time to put that wayward heart in lockdown mode, especially once Rafe starts aiming his overprotective streak at her identical twin. Lily may seem like the softer side of the twinship, but nobody messes with her sister.
There's nothing she can do about Rafe being her temporary neighbor in the mountains above Sinful, Montana, or about being forced to witness the least impressive feats of horsemanship known to man. That doesn't mean she has to let him into her lingerie store, her heart, or any other part of her anatomy. He can just take his silver-blue wolf eyes, his rueful smile, and the rest of his gorgeous self, and...Wait, where was she again?
Oh, yeah. Are you allowed to hate your future almost-brother-in-law, if you do it really, really quietly?

I only agree because the guy is going to work as a doctor in Africa. It’s the best date of my life. Dr. Africa makes me laugh and swoon, and I want to give him a thorough physical examination. Story
When discipline is your life, structure’s a good thing, and Owen Johnson’s got plenty of both. An All-Pro NFL center who’s also a cattle rancher? Yeah, that’s structure. His marriage didn’t work out, but then, he picked the wrong woman. A Wyoming ranch doesn’t look nearly as romantic up close. Not to a model, anyway. Next time, he’ll choose better. Not, for example, a 19-year-old ball of fire like Dyma Cardello, who’s just starting on her own journey. To become an astronautical engineer. After about five years of schooling. Which she’s focused on like, well, a rocket.

Rule number one for having a one-night stand: Don’t fall for the girl. After a lengthy dating slump, I finally met someone who sparked my interest. Well, first the sparks flew when we argued. Later in the evening those sparks ignited into something more. I was drawn to Devyn, in a way I hadn’t felt in a really long time. Needless to say, I was disappointed when she abruptly left after our amazing night together. I couldn’t stop thinking about her. But she hadn’t even given me her number. In a city with eight-million people, I figured I’d never see Devyn again.

How does luck appear? Bad is good!
It's fantasy evening when Rafe meets Lily in a San Francisco bar far away from either of their own homes. Little did they know their seemingly harmless identity deceptions would backfire on them big time. That was bad luck, but not. . . because they had that evening's sweet memory to look back on and realize that what they felt was real. A lot of things happen to Rafe that seem like bad luck, but turn out to be a matter of perception. He's good at that.
When they meet this time, back on the home ground of the first book, Sinful Montana, they find themselves dealing with an orphaned kid and a mangy dog as well as their attraction to one another.
This might be the first book I've read that I enjoyed MORE as an audio book. Emma Wilder did an amazing job of the voices and Rafe's changing accents. The rhythm of the story kept me so engaged that I listened to nearly the entire book in one day. I liked Lily from the previous story and Rafe was a great character, too. As always, the secondary characters in a Rosalind James book were great! The nine-year-old sounded and acted like a nine-year-old that you could come to love. Martin, the assistant was fun, too. These characters live in a community that interacts with them, but just the right amount.
I had already purchased the Kindle version of this book, but then received a free copy of this audio version in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

this was too TEMPTING!!!!!
Rosalind James, brings us into a new world of romance, out of 10 being steamy, i would rate this a 7-8 in that dept a full on 10 with romance, the Story is about Lily who been hurt one to many times, until Raft comes along , the narration by Emma Wilder deserves a shout out. Rosalind James allowed you to be able to close your eyes and see the story played out, Emma Wilder brought it's play out to life with her diverse vocal skills!!!!!!
if your looking still for the beach read, this is def it.
As i said it takes you from brut to full on cant live without Lily's Love to, Lily learning what you see on the outside is not always how it is, that there is happy ever after. that there peer pressure with Adults as much as in the kids world .
thumbs up Mrs James and Emma Wilder for the great escape for 14 hours!!!!! the time blew by as it was a straight listen, unbelievable talent. thank you for the journey, it was well worth the wait........ soooooo now when will 3 be out lol

Loved it!!
I really love Rosalind James books & audiobooks.Once I start reading or listening I can't stop until I finish. This story is no exception. My favorite thing about her writing is that family is always so important and a big part of the books. Tempting as Sin is not a continuation of book 1 Guilty as SIn but it's best if you read that one first so you can relate all the characters that are in both books. Rafe and Lily are both relatable people and you root for both of them to come out ahead. As always i look forward to the next book by Rosalind James.
Emma Wilder does such an amazing job on the narration. She's one of my favorites. The accents and male voices are so good you sometimes forget it's the same narrator.

Lily and Rafe
I got caught up in this story right away. Lily and Rafe were going to get together, but the conflicts were good (including an ex and a bear); there were lots of laughs (learning to ride, goat milking, etc.); a few tears, and a kid and a dog. You can’t go wrong with that! Rosalind James has written a gem. With settings from Montana to Australia, her descriptions paint such beautiful pictures that you can “see” every scene and wish you were there. This book is a stand-alone. It’s Lily and Rafe’s story. However, if you’ve read Guilty as Sin, you’ll enjoy revisiting characters and understand more of the backstory. I enjoyed this one.
I received a free copy of the audio version of this story (after I had bought and read and reviewed the kindle version). The review for the audio version is the same as the written version, except for the next couple of sentences. This is my opinion of the audio version. I was not compensated for this review, and this review is mine alone. It's wonderful. Emma Wilder does a great job with the voices. Very enjoyable on a long car ride!

Enjoyable listen!
Tempting as Sin is the second book in Rosalind James's Sinful Montana Book 2. It is standalone, but I would recommend reading the first book in the series as you would get more out of this book. Tempting as Sin is a worthy follow up to Book 1, Guilty as Sin. with great characters and great chemistry. It is fun and quick listen.
The characters really make this story, and they each make you care for them as individuals. While listening to this book, I didn't even think that I was in the mood for a book with kid as a central character. James's writing changed my mind within minutes, and soon Bailey and her story were equally as important to me as the central relationship of Lily and Rafe. Equally impressive is how Lily and Rafe both are always relatable and never untouchable as characters. It was very rewarding as a listener to watch them grow and find happiness.
Narrator Emma Wilder gives another great performance. She disappears into the story and the characters.
I was given a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review, nor was I compensated in any way. The opinions stated are solely my own.

Tempting Morsel!
I loved Lily and Rafe's story. While In San Francisco Lily and Rafe meet each other and hang out under alias names, not knowing that their siblings are the ones getting married. They have a terrific time and want to meet for dinner one more time. A misunderstanding makes each of them view each other through blurred Hollywood eyes.
Lily returns home to Sinful, Montana and Rafe escapes to his brothers cabin in Sinful after a bad video regarding him is released. Lily befriends a needy girl, Bailey and her motely dog, Chuck. Rafe and Lily find out that they actually have more in common than originally thought including generous hearts, helping hands and enough love to share. Add in some returning friends and relatives and Rafe's assistant and you have a wonderful story.
Emma Wilder is such a great narrator. I listen to many books and she is far and away my favorite narrator.
Thanks Rosalind for another wonderful book where you capture the essence of all the characters especially children.
DISCLOSURE: I was provided this book in advance to give a true, honest review. I was in no way compensated for a positive review and this review is my honest, personal opinion of this audible book.

Faith & Love
I was very interested to see where Rafe and Lily's story would go, and, as always, Rosalind took us on a great journey of faith, hope and love. The story is not only about the relationship between Rafe and Lily, but also of Bailey (and Chuck). I believe that Bailey is an integral part of this story. Lily is hesitant about finding love again after being betrayed by her ex-husband. I feel that when she met Bailey, it helped her realize that there is the potential to find love again.
Now, Rafe and Lily didn't exactly start out on the right foot. Well, they did, but by pretending to be two totally different people. Once they met through Paige and Jace, they realized that they both had an attraction, but, aside from realizing that they were soon going to be in-laws and the fact that Rafe is a movie star and Lily wants nothing to do with that life again, they tried to stay away from one another. However, Rafe was going to be staying at Jace's house in Montana to learn how to be a "cowboy" for his next film. It was inevitable that he and Lily would bump into each other. But, what they didn't expect was that the more time they spent together, the more in tune they were and realized that they could possibly pursue a relationship. Rafe was also very welcoming to Bailey, which was another strong feature for him. Rafe is just an all around good guy. Through some tough times with all three of them, they all came out with the best end result - love!
This was a bit of an emotional roller coaster, but ultimately, Lily finally realized just how strong she really is. She and Rafe had a great relationship - hot and sexy and sweet and sincere. Great combinations. Loved the characters. Loved the book. Loved the ending :)
Once again, Emma Wilder did an awesome job with both the male and female characters. It amazes me how she gives so many different changes in voice to each individual character.
