Jessie Alden thinks her days of solving mysteries are over. With her new role at the student newspaper, as well as classes, friends, and boys, there’s a lot to keep up with. When an oil spill takes place off the coast of Connecticut, the Aldens are happy to volunteer to help clean up the animals affected, including a rare species of shore bird.
