About this listen

This book belongs to the genre of adventure novels, although with many symbolic and esoteric references, and is developed in twenty-one chapters, plus one of connection, for a total of twenty-two chapters, corresponding to the twenty-two Major Arcana of the Tarot game . It follows temporally the book conceived by the same authors, entitled "The Time Machine and the search for the Menorah." Unlike the first, this novel, which is a natural continuation, takes place in the future (with respect to time in which it was published) and precisely in 2012. In the background, we talk about the “uroboro”, which represents a snake biting its own tail. It indicates symbolically the circularity of time, which is the main theme of the two novels. We recognize that there are many references to dates and recurring events that may make a bit complicated the initial reading, but at the end of the story, if you do not give up going on, you will learn the real reason. This novel, with respect to the antecedent one, poses less attention to symbolic references, in favor of the psychological introspection of characters, especially with regard to female figures and deliberately refers to the various aspects of the archetype of the sacred feminine. This story can be read at several levels, such as, for instance, by jumping chapters (which presumably someone may find boring, or out of place), but without losing the train of thought. The free will of the reader is then enhanced by the choice of a conclusion tailored according to his inclinations. Even in this book, as in the previous, there are many references to sex, sometimes rather risqué, therefore, to avoid violating the sensibilities of some readers, the authors have chosen to describe these details in a special erotic appendix at the end of the book , so that only those really interested in pursuing such matters shall have the opportunity to read them. Please note, however, that, unlike the first book, in which eroticism has a symbolic valence, in this novel, such references are not essential to understanding the plot. It should be noted, therefore, that if the reader decides to read the details, he will do consciously and without any right to be scandalized, and still, at his own risk, because such descriptions, partly with sado-masochist background, can really upset a reader particularly sensitive . We don't recommended, in fact, the reading to children, religious people, moralists and pregnant women. From the erotic point of view this story, unlike the first book (which was aimed mostly to satisfy a sexuality from the male point of view, lingering in particular on sexual fantasies predominantly masculine, such as voyeurism, fetishism and bestiality), mainly investigates the aspects of female sexuality, such as lesbianism (in theme of homosexuality), masochism and gerontophilia. It should be pointed out that the story is not intended to enhance aspects of deviant sexuality, but it intends to investigate the mental mechanisms that underlie the passions and human foibles, describing the difficulty of keeping them in check. This struggle is inherent in all of us and these temptations and weaknesses are sometimes present in those initiates who have not been able to complete their spiritual realization. We would like to point out that the erotic subject, here reported, is not intended to incite or justify the betrayal of the marriage (even though there is that issue, as a weakness, in the main character of the story), but, on the contrary, to suggest some alternative erotic rituals (here, of course, we are not referring to the sado-masochistic aspects, but only to the innocent games of couple), in order to make less monotonous the sex life and to stimulate the partners to seek alternative ways to revive the eroticism, without necessarily having to accomplish mutual betrayal or to address to the exchange of couple or other unnatural practices, especially because today, a coexistence or a wedding
