About this listen

This book is called TH GAP, because it fills in the gap where other books leave off and begin again. It is about awareness. It covers subjects adolescents, teenagers and young adults should know about current times, topics from good hygiene and human trafficking, to dating, internet and addiction. This information is about being able to make good informed choices, setting healthy boundaries, effective communication and life skills. It also covers some bases on good parenting. Most children will be parents someday, and hopefully this book will help identify, heal and shift family dysfunction in future generations. It is written in a gender neutral format. So everyone is included. It is straight forward and not candy coated on topics that all of the parents who have previewed this book wish their own parents had discussed with them, but didn't.. There may even be information in this book that even parents themselves didn't know. Yes it discusses somethings pertaining to body parts that everyone has. This is not a book about the "Birds and the Bees". This is about the other stuff. such as how to use a condom, what a clitoris is, not to wear stinky sneakers on a date, where to find a trunk release on the inside of a trunk, so if ever you get put inside of one and how to say "No!". The scenarios inside of this book are true experiences that could happen to anyone regardless of age or gender. I recommend that parents review this book prior to having your child read it to ensure that you the parent feel that this book is appropriate for your child.
