About this listen

Amelia Dunn is running from men who are determined to force her into a life any honest woman would be ashamed of. Her only hope is the big man who risked his own life to save her. But, had she jumped from the pan to the fire?

The last thing Hank Richards needed was a meddlesome woman in his way. But when a woman screams, a man just naturally has to step in and help. He should have known better. Now he was saddled with a woman with too many questions and enough enemies to keep him busy for months.

SWEETWATER RIDGE

Amelia is going west as a mail order bride. When she gets there she finds out its been a trick. Shes been brought there to work in a brothel. She is rescued by a man named Hank. Hank takes her with him and keeps her safe. Starting out shes afraid of him but as time goes on she starts liking him and visa Versa. They find a rich vein of gold and become wealthy. They go to get married and run into the guy that had ordered her to be his bride/ worker in his brothel. He kidnaps her back and Hank goes in for an all out war and get her back. The fight at the end makes this book one of the best Ive listened to in a long time. Hanks friends from the other books helps him get her back. I like how all these books connect. This is a five star book and series. Gus Farrar did a good job narrating this book. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.

Woman with Enemies Defended by Cowboy

In this Old West romance adventure story, Amelia, a woman with many enemies, finds a paladin in Hank, who wants no further entanglements. Clean, cowboy adventure romance. Good narration. Female characters could have sounded more feminine.

The Miner and the Mail Order Bride

This was a very good audiobook and I enjoyed listening to it. A Young mail order bride, tricked, no husband, a brothel, running away, saved by a large man, frighten of him, getting out of town, the mountains, he's a miner, cooking and cleaning, leaving, snowed, helping in mine, having to leave, being found, killing, being shot, more snow, helping in the mine, cave in, finding a rich vaine, a young indian, falling in love, will there they find her again? Will there be a happy ever after? I would recommend this audiobook to everyone. Buy the audiobook and listen to find out what happens. I really loved it.

Great story

I liked the story and the narration was good. Really liked the characters Hank and Amy. My first book got this author and narrator, and I’ll probably get more. Easy listen.
