"Anger is a signal and one worth listening to," writes Dr. Harriet Lerner in her renowned classic that has transformed the lives of millions. While anger deserves our attention and respect, women still learn to silence our anger, to deny it entirely, or to vent it in a way that leaves us feeling helpless and powerless. In this engaging and eminently wise book, Dr. Lerner teaches both women and men to identify the true sources of anger and to use it as a powerful vehicle for creating lasting change.

Eh. Kind of dry and more like a "manual".
Would you try another book from Michael Carr-Gregg and/or Michael Carr-Gregg?
I might.
What was most disappointing about Michael Carr-Gregg’s story?
I thought some of the book was very dry and seemed more like an instruction manual at times.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The accent was hard for me because I am from the United States. But at times, it was comical because of the word choices.

i would have appreciated less "it's going to suck"
This is an exceptionally short book, out of four hours or so i think the author has to spend at least an hour repeating in a thousand ways how much step families are going to suck for the first few years. YEAH i got it, next subject, ohh the book is over? great.
