Surprise Baby for Christmas

I enjoyed the story and the way the character's can together.Its nice when you can laugh along with the character's it makes it seem more like it's playing out before you like your part of the inner circle. I recieved this book from the author and decided to leave my opinion voluntarily. It's a fun romance story with real emotions.

My Thoughts on Surprise Baby for Christmas

Surprise Baby for Christmas was a really good holiday romance that featured a very obvious trope. I liked that this story wasn't solely centered on that though. There was plenty of actual relationship building and getting to know you packed into this shorter story which I enjoyed.

The author was new to me but I thought she did a good job with the plot and flow. She kept things interesting the whole time.

The narrator was also new to me. I thought he did a pretty good job. His performance when telling the story from Pippa's point of view was occasionally confusing. I had to pay careful and close attention to know who's POV the story was from because there wasn't much difference between his leading lady and leading male tones. His voice itself is pretty good, he just didn't have as much variation between male and female voices as I'm used to.

Overall this was a good story and a good listen.

Surprise Baby for Christmas: A Secret Baby Romance

Pippa and her friend Valerie were supposed to go on vacation together but Valerie's boss called her back to work for an important case. Now Pippa is there alone and she meets Aiden and it is an instant attraction between the two. They have a week-long fling and they decide no other information was to be given but their first names. It has been about 8 months since Pippa left Aiden and as she is walking home one day from work, she sees him in a restaurant with a woman. Aiden looks up and he thinks he sees Pippa and he runs out of the restaurant after her. When he catches up to her, she asks him "what was he doing in New York?" He tells her that he now lives there. He asks her the same question and her answer is that she lives there. They start seeing one another and their feelings grow stronger for each other. They are out to buy Aiden a Christmas tree when all of a sudden Pippa goes down on her knees in pain, Aiden asks what is wrong and she tells him she doesn't know. He tells her he is taking her to the hospital. When they get to the hospital and they are in an exam room, Pippa's friend Valerie shows up and that is when Aiden and Valerie meet as Pipp's friend and boyfriend. Valerie has been working with Aiden since he moved to New York. Aiden is upset due to they have been waiting for over an hour and a doctor still has not come in to check on Pippa, so he goes out to get one. When he comes back with the doctor, the doctor tells him and Valerie they have to leave the room while Pippa is examed. The doctor checks Pippa and then tells her that she needs to go get a machine and another doctor. The machine she comes back with is an ultrasound machine. After the doctor checks Pippa with the ultrasound, she tells her that she is pregnant and in labor. Pippa is shocked. The doctor asks if Pippa wanted to tell her friends or if Pippa wanted the doctor to tell them. Pippa has the doctor tell them. When the doctor tells Valerie and Aiden the news and tells them only one of them can be with Pippa until she is settled upstairs Aiden can move so Valerie goes with Pippa. When Aiden is able to move again he goes back to the exam room Pippa was in but she is gone, he asks where she is and is told she has been moved upstairs. he goes upstairs but is told that he can't go in to see Pippa and he gets upset and gets thrown out of the hospital for 24 hrs. Pippa is thinking that since Aiden is not there that he has left her and she gets mad.
Will Aiden get to be with Pippa when she gives birth to his child or will he miss it? Can he explain to her why he was not there at first?
Can Pippa forgive Aiden for leaving her when she needed him or will she stay mad at him?
This was a well-written story and I enjoyed it very much, it will have you laughing in some places and crying in others.
I would recommend this audible book to anyone.

This was a pretty cute holiday romance. I believe the first that I've read with the "she didn't know she was pregnant until in labor" storyline. And I quite enjoyed it, even if there were some medical bits that threw me off a little.

I listened to the audio, and wasn't too impressed with that medium, but only because I couldn't tell the difference in whose chapter it was, and the different characters speaking. There was only 1 male narrator reading the whole book, which I hate when there are distinct M and F chapters. His voice itself was great though.

This is just WOW

I was sucked into this book from the moment I started listening.
The way it was Written is fantastic.
The love between the two, and how they were able to find one another.
This is definitely one to read and keep.

Suprises

What a great romance read! I loved this holiday themed romance story of Aiden and Pippa. This story line flows so well. Knight does an incredible job of keeping us in the now but also giving us glimpses of the past that have shaped our main characters into what they are - flaws and all. I love Aiden's alpha tendencies that co-mingle with his tender side and Pippa's strength and the determination she develops thru this read is great. I also feel a little in love with the secondary characters and hope they get their own stories! I love the sweet twists that keep you engaged and of course the HEA. Just an overall heart warming holiday romance that you'll find yourself falling in love with.

An Enjoyable Quick Listen

I was given a free copy for an honest review.

I was unsure at first about the narrator, but he quickly grew on me. I would listen to more done by him.
The story was good. I know some can find the surprise/secret baby trope over done ,but this was similar enough to stay within the trope, but different enough with its own twist that i found it kept my attention and i really enjoyed the story.

If you want a quick, enjoyable listen i would recommend this one.

What a surprise!

A vacation fling turns out to be much more. Aiden and Pippa are both still hot for each other even though it was nine months since their fling. This story was so sweet and enjoyable. Loved the ending. I really like Harmony Knight's writing style.

Logan Anare did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fun Christmas, secret baby romance

Well written and well read.
This is a believable story about a vacation fling that changes both of their lives forever.
I will be looking for more books by Harmony.
