This was pretty good
I've enjoyed other Jaclyn Osborn's audible titles so I decided to give "Strength to Forgive" a try. The performer - James Edward Jones did a respectable job, but even if I hadn't seen the copyright year I could tell he did this one earlier in his career because he has improved - if you are familiar with Brigham Vaughn's hockey series then you might agree. In this title I thought the story itself was interesting, I liked the character development and the sweet if not a bit contrived romance between Aaron and Luke....I personally didn't really feel the 'magnetic force' or fated destiny of these two being together - that feeling that no one but Aaron could get through Luke's walls ..It seems to me that it was a perfect storm of events such as enough time had passed, Luke's aunt constantly working on him to confront his feelings and move on and the reeaaallly big event - Luke's father was getting ready to get out of prison. Aaron just happened to be the right guy at the right time....But Jaclyn, talented author that she is, found a way to have Luke explain why Aaron and not Peyton when he had his healing conversation with Peyton near the end so it does make me reevaluate my feelings....slightly. The ending was nice afterall!
3 starz - I won't listen again

Good story but...
I enjoyed the story but the performance left a sad taste. It seemed rushed and the sentences were almost running into each other with missing ponctuations leaving a plain, barely any emotion text.
