About this listen

Stepping Stones; And Next This is the second book in the Stepping Stones series. Stepping Stones; And Next takes up where the first book finished. The story follows the progress that is being made with the house, the gardens, the distillery and the new Farm Shop Complex. We also follow the progress of Harry, as he battles to find out what is causing his health problems. All areas are moving forward well, but that also brings issues that need to be addressed: Harry and Jo would like their own space, but don’t want to be away from the house. They also would like to be able to have more guests. They are only restricted by the number of rooms they have for their guests to stay in. The Farm Shop Complex has opened and is doing a roaring trade; far ahead of expectations. The need for more local produce needs to be addressed. There are many willing local suppliers but James also wants to be able to produce more Stepping Stones produce. To be able to do that, they need more land to grow produce on. The only unused land at the moment is on the Forgotten Lands. The distillery is also very successful. Alongside their Stepping Stones whisky, they have started producing their own Gin. When the spring is located on the Forgotten Lands, Charlie will make a new version of Donald’s whisky. Donald wrote a diary and in it he tells his story of how he was educated and how the distillery in Stepping Stones came to be. And then there are the guests. Ken arrives, more to please his parents than anything else. Ken has lost his sight and is struggling to come to terms with how this came about. Will his stay at Stepping Stones benefit him or will he upset the apple cart? This is Stepping Stones; And Next. Family Life Genre Fiction Historical Fiction
