About this listen

As ruthless apprentice to Darth Vader, Starkiller was mercilessly schooled in the ways of the dark side, commanded to exterminate the last of the purged Jedi Order, and groomed for the ultimate Sith power play: Assassination of the Emperor. He served without question, killed without remorse, and lost his heart without warning to beautiful Imperial fighter pilot Juno Eclipse, never suspecting that he was just a tool in the schemes of his masters - until it was too late to escape their lethal betrayal.

Juno mourned Starkiller as dead...but now he is back, purged of all memories and programmed to kill. And as fate brings Juno and Starkiller closer to reuniting, with Darth Vader determined not to lose his assassin a second time, they will both have to make a stand. The prize is freedom. The punishment for failing will be eternal enslavement to the dark side of the Force...

Great

Loved it all the way, one of the best legends stories to my memory. Was very well executed as well.

love it

My only wish would but for Disney to make the books into a live action movie series.

Deeper Understanding of Being a Clone!

If you love Starkiller and the Force Unleashed games, you'll love this book! I was just excited to read more about Starkiller because I just can't get enough of his character, and this book accomplished that and something that I never thought about when playing these games - they really delve into what it means to be a clone! The way that Sean Williams describes this constant paranoia and lack of identity confirmation and this constant fear that one day he will give into this clone madness really fleshes out his struggle in this story. Jonathan Davis once again knocks it out of the park with his voice acting! My only drawback is no one can do Starkiller like Sam Witwer, and I would've loved if he narrated his own book, and that's my only reason for the 4/5 on performance. The story, while fantastic, is pretty much exactly what I already knew, aside from the added parts about Juno in the Alliance, and the deeper view into Starkiller's mind. Overall, this was fantastic! I'd very much recommend it!

All around great experience

Excellent continuation. Very happy that this one was unabridged. Jonathan Davis did a wonderful job narrating. Anything he reads is worth a listen. Over all I was very pleased with this book.

StarKiller Is Back

Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 by Sean Williams is yet another fantastic novelization of a Star Wars video game. The plot quite like the first one follows the games narrative while at the same time going deeper into it. The action is turned up in the Force Unleashed 2 as well as the drama and gripping moments. The plot is in a nutshell StarKiller on a mission to find Juno. I don’t want to say to much as this story is great. The characters are all well written and I really liked how we got to see more of what Juno was thinking in this one. StarKiller and Darth Vader stand out once again. The narrator Jonathan Davis did an absolute fantastic job telling this story. Also quite like the first one the music and sound effects added to the audible edition is great. The music is well timed to make dramatic moments just that much more dramatic. The sound effects also really help you just visualize everything happening in the story. All in all I would recommend Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 by Sean Williams to anyone who is a Star Wars or a Science Fiction fan.

Great second book but...

I'm very happy this version is unabridged and the story was great. Love the internal conflict within Starkiller which has left me wishing for more introspection into his decisions.Love a good anti-hero. The overarching plot was very dull (Find Juno) and the ending, while left on a positive note, felt cliche. I'm glad that this series actually brought something unique to the start wars universe and simply didn't exist in it.

Good writing

Good writing. A little mushy for the most powerful… well almost most powerful. But it was entertaining.
