About this listen

LOG ENTRY – B. WOLFE
Saved Draft – Never Sent

I don't even know if you're out there anymore.

I tell myself you are, because if I stop believing that, I stop walking.

This thing… it's not a virus.

It's not something we can cure or kill.

It's becoming.
Rage was just the beginning.

Now the bodies don't stay dead—they grow.

Flesh becomes fungus. Eyes become mouths.

They scream like they remember what it felt like to be human.

I see them in my sleep.

I hear them whispering in the trees.

The spores are falling like snow now—soft, silent, everywhere.

Every day I ask myself:
If I find you, and you're one of them…
do I save you?
Or do I stay, just so you're not alone in it?

This isn't a survival story.

It's a goodbye letter.

SPOREFALL is here.

And I'm still walking toward it.

Life has taken a drastic change for the heinous. The air, land, plants, everything is slowly becoming infected creating death and zombie-like creatures to walk the earth destroying everything in their path. One man seeks to find his daughter and a safe haven to live out their lives. Little does he know.

B Humphrey, author, takes the zombie genre down a different path creating a unique and riveting tale of horror and zombies. He methodically sets the stage and maintains the detailed surroundings in vivid imagery while also blending in the emotional aspects of the interactions.

Khai Lannor, narrator, once again excels at narrating this story, bringing steady energy and a smooth rhythm that pulls you in right away. One feels the emotional depth of a father searching for his daughter. Within minutes, you're fully immersed in the world he's building. It's a strong, engaging performance that really carries the story.

This story offers rare insight on zombies and human connection in a death defining crisis.
