He's not here to learn. He's here to rewrite the rules.

For two centuries, Daren Morin was one of the most powerful mages in existence, a master of forbidden magic and feared across the realm. But betrayal ended everything.

Now, he wakes up...eighteen years old. Again.

Stripped of power. Trapped in a ruthless magic academy. Mocked by classmates who call him "Moron."

This time, he's weaker.

This time, they think he's no threat.

This time, they're dead wrong.

He remembers every secret. Every spell. Every betrayal. And he's going to use it all, to rise again, and to make sure they regret underestimating him.

Because Daren didn't survive centuries of power by being merciful.

And he's not starting now.

Join Daren in his journey to power once again. For fans of Progression Fantasy, Magic Academy, and cunning Antiheroes who play to win.

The narration was impeccable. The story was incredibly engaging and was just what I was looking for. I have read numerous anti-hero regression novels and this novel balances learned power and main characters current abilities beautifully. This novel goes up there on my top 10. I will be purchasing the books as they come out!

The best part of anti-hero!

A very enjoyable listen, magic system is extremely unique and interesting. Technique could use a bit of work but not bad per-say, just unrefined.

Pretty okay

This story is a bit different from AP's other books in a way but i enjoyed it. The MC is being set up as a sort of Chaotic neutral hero in a few ways. I hope to see where he goes with it, i can see a few things that would bring him around in different ways. Tons of potential in this time reset adventure. The magic system is something different and the mc and support charectors are pretty good. Some of the supporting side char's are written in a way you just cant like them so i dunno about that. Most of his books dont feature those types of chars for too long unless they end up being big protagonists at some point. All in all i look forward to see where he goes with this one, the world is different enough from his other books it brings something fresh. Schmaybe with all of these portal shenanigans we will see Lee way or Allen Ming pop in for a few chapters. I tend to enjoy his crossovers but only wish he could manage the narrators of each book to dual narrate at those times lol

Something Different from AP

let's just get it out of the way: the writing of this book is bad, like really really bad. I'm not saying bad by regular standards, I'm saying it's bad by litrpg standards. from the shallow characters, bad decision making, unlikeable protagonist to the barely spell checked sections this book isn't ready for publication and def not worth a credit.

stop writing this series
