About this listen
When Michael Carpenter had been invited to examine the most perfectly preserved bog mummy from ancient Germany, it was the opportunity of a lifetime. Then everything came crashing down when the corpse is apparently stolen, carpenter's mentor killed, and he himself left with a traumatic brain injury. The man returned to his loving fiance, Faye, is damaged with severe amnesia. But worse, some wraith like stalker has followed them back to America, and with it comes gruesome death. Only Michael knows what this specter is, but he's not telling.

great story, but the narrator sounds bored
the story was engaging, but the narrator sounds like his very life bores him. it could definitely be a more interesting narration

A Short Horror Story
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I actually knew nothing about it before I started it including the genre. Many times, it is my preference to go into books with this attitude because it gives me an opportunity to view things without any judgment. To my delight, I discovered that it is a horror novel, much in the mold of many of the independent horror authors whose work I enjoy so much. The book was very enjoyable and kept my attention throughout the story. The narration was well done and professional. If there is any drawback, it's that the ending felt rather abrupt but on the whole, I found it to be a very enjoyable listen.

A Revision of a Classic take
This is a good short work that re-works a traditional trope in a modern era. The tension builds nicely in this work as we experience the strange happenings from Germany to the US. Take the journey and remember to fear the Bog Men,

Good short story
Full disclosure: Was given this book for free for an honest review. Would give this a 3.5. The book was a good short story about horror. SPOILER: I would say the thing that bugged me about the book was that the boyfriend of the character was swapped out for a different person. But she couldn't really tell when nearly everything about him had changed.
