About this listen

This is the quintessential hellfire and damnation sermon. It is one of the most important sermons ever preached in America and reportedly caused mass conversions and repentances during the "Great Awakening" back in 1741.

The vivid imagery Edwards used reportedly made some of those who heard it tremble and cry out for mercy.

It is an important piece of American Literature, even for those those who totally disagree with the author's view of God as vengeful, angry and a bit cruel.

Good but it needs a actual narrator instead of a robot voice but overall pretty good

This needs a actual narrator

Grammer, bad cadence and accents on certain words sound a little odd, "old-fashioned," as it were, which gives the thing a sense of authenticity. And the narrator has an amazing, deep, almost gutteral voice. The whole effect is to draw you back to another time and place.

Old fashioned but good

The computer generated rendition of a Godly Classic is not acceptable. The grammar and dictation are nearly illegible, this needs an actual narrator, not a computer generated dictation.

Not a Good Rendition- Not Understandable
