Ten years after I dropped out from college, there was a void in me which nothing seemed to fill until I went back to pick up my academic pursuits from where I left off. All I wanted at first was to go back and complete my college education, but once I found myself back on my feet, reunited with my books, I could not stop until I got a degree.
Going back to school after such a long time and going all the way to get a master's degree wasn't all that easy, but I found the right motivation to keep pushing until all my academic dreams had come true.
In this book, I have outlined the same principles and strategies I used that helped turn a college dropout into a master's degree holder.

very encouraging
this book was great to listen to as an audio book on Audible - I was able to listen one evening during a run and workout, followed by a cool-down and dinner. I didn’t intend to listen all the way through in one night, but the book was so encouraging that I couldn’t stop listening. One thing I really appreciate about the book is the author’s ability to share steps he took himself, in an easy-to-understand format. It is obvious the author “walks the walk” and doesn’t just “talk the talk” by trying to sell to the audience. The only things he seems to be promoting are integrity, staying true to self, being honest, and following your heart. What a great book for students, too! I’m about to do some journaling after listening to this book because I feel motivated to make some positive changes in my life, based on Mark Meyer’s encouraging words.
