About this listen
The unforgettable story of Raine and Torin from Immortals continues in the Runes series from Amazon best-selling author Ednah Walters.
I love Torin St. James.... I need his strength.... But someone from his past wants me dead.
Raine Cooper is certain of two things: her love for Torin St. James and her destiny to be a powerful seeress. But when she starts having premonitions, they are unclear and disturbing. Worse, they involve Torin. With her mother gone, her father dying, and her best friend in Hel, she is not sure who to talk to. But when the visions become more personal and she foresees her future with Torin threatened by someone from his past, Raine becomes desperate for answers.
Just her luck, two new students arrive at her school, and they seem to have answers. When with them, her powers are enhanced, and her visions become clear. There is only one problem: Torin forbids Raine to see the two girls. Can their love survive without trust?

You know you’re invisible when even your bullies forget to pick on you. That’s me, Bettina Blair, hidden in plain sight. No matter how hard I try I just never fit in with my classmates. Now I know why. I’m a witch...apparently. One little demon attack and my parents confess their ugly secret…and ship me off to an elite academy of magic—for witches only. I can't summon magic. I can't fight with my hands or my fists. I just don't belong here, and Jackson Lancaster keeps reminding me every single chance he gets. This boy is the most insufferable, intolerable, unbearable, judgmental person.

Excellent narrator and amazing story
Any additional comments?
I love Ednah Walters and the 'Runes' series. I've already read 'Seeress' but I couldn't say no to the audiobook version. Let me tell you that I loved hearing someone else reading me a book from a series that never ceases to surprise me.
Stephanie Terry (the narrator) is amazing! she not only has a clear pronunciation and captures each emotion in a remarkable way but she is also excellent with accents. This story has British, Irish and other European characters and she nailed each one of them. She creates a different voice for each character and you never get tired of hearing her. I could listen to her reading all my books.
Now, the story… I already knew it was a great story because like I said I've read it before. However, I have forgotten a lot of details. Raine is still discovering her powers (she is box of surprises) and her relationship with Torin is mature and addictive. He is perfect but still manages to infuriate us by being too protective. Luckily, Raine puts limits and proves she can be independent and also that she can save him sometimes.
There is a lot of danger and mystery around the killer's identity and all the witches congregating in town. The final chapters are full of action and confrontations and again Stephanie does a remarkable job narrating the scenes.

Beautiful performance - left me wanting more!
Would you listen to Seeress again? Why?
Yes, I haven't read the book myself yet, and I think I would have retained more of the story if I had. When I can find time I plan to read the book, and then come back to listen again.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Raine - she's my favorite character in the whole series. I love how complex she is.
Which character – as performed by Stephanie Terry – was your favorite?
Still Raine!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There were parts that did both for me. ;)

Fantastic!!!
Would you listen to Seeress again? Why?
Yes, because I never could imagine a situation like that. The author surprised me by creating a plot that involves so many revelations about Torn's past . Not to mention Eric's return.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I like all characters, because each one has a personality with thing that I loved and hated.
What about Stephanie Terry’s performance did you like?
Sterphanie Terry's oerformance was excelente. It was a o=performance that holds the listener's attention. A voice that changes to indicate the change of character, which seeks to convey the emotions (happiness, anger, fear, anxiety ...)
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No.
Any additional comments?
For me, that was the best book of the series until now.

Great next step in the story
I've enjoyed this series a great deal. I find it refreshing with twists and turns that keep me engaged. The story line feels original due to the weaving of gods and their cast. While firmly a YA, it still has enough to keep even adults interested. I'm looking forward to the others in the series.

I absolutley loved this book
If you could sum up Seeress in three words, what would they be?
Love, Love, Love. I fell in love with this series with book 1 Runes. All the characters have developed at such a great pace. The storyline is amazing.
What did you like best about this story?
The interactions between the characters, mainly between Raine and Torin.
Which character – as performed by Stephanie Terry – was your favorite?
Id have to say Rain was my favorite character but I did giggle with her voice for Torin. Her voice for Cora I believe was spot on. I really enjoyed Stephanie Terry's reading.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened to this book in about 3 days. I actually have listened to it again since then.
Any additional comments?
This audio book was amazing. I cant wait to listen to the rest of them.

I'm in love with this series. Each book has very well developed characters and reader detailed story. This series isn't over the top lovey dovey. There's action some family friend drama and just the right amount of fantasy.

Absolutely stunning story with a satisfying perfor
As someone who is familiar with the story, I was very pleased with Mz. Terry's ability to distinctly depict each character, and to really pour in the emotions that Mrs. Walters had written into the book. Seeress shows Raine more in charge than ever, and my heart really breaks for Torin here. The raw and edgy feel of the scenes was easy for me to get wrapped up in, although there were a couple instances where I think the narrator may have lost the emotional resonance, overall this was an outstanding audio adaption.
