About this listen
Lilyanna Thorne still suffers from serious injuries she received in the car accident that took the life of her son three years ago, but when she learns her grandmother has only a few days to live, she grabs the first flight to Florida and checks into the Belleview Biltmore Hotel, near Morton Plant Hospital. Her marriage is in ruins and she's plagued with horrific nightmares of the accident and ghoulish visions of her late son, so the last thing she needs is spirits at the Belleview Biltmore invading her dreams to share their memories from the Roaring 20s. But soon the spirits teach her that death is not as black and white as she believed it to be...and neither is love or marriage.

Good but long
The story was good but did seem to drone on to me. I enjoyed hearing all the adventures of this double story but was actually starting to get bored by the end. Lilly lost her son in a terrible car accident and has not been able to get move on. When her Grandmother has a stroke and is at the end of her life Lilly travels back to Florida to be there for her Grandmother. She takes a room at the Belleview Biltmore Hotel. There are rumors that it is haunted. Almost from the first second Lilly falls asleep the spirits come to her in her dreams to teach her lessons and to help her move on.
Her husband made the choice to donate their sons organs while she was in a coma, and since then Lilly believes that more could of been done to save their son but they were like vampires after his organs. She learns the truth over time of his death and begins to see the error in her thinking.
I am not sure but some of this book could scare people off from donating loved ones organs, but yet others may gravitate more towards donation as well.
