This was an interesting and enjoyable listen with two narrators (a male and a female) which worked well somehow and mixed it up. Perfect narration in fact, clear and with great emphasis and expression. A good story with excitement and humour.

very engaging story

This is a really exciting tale of deception and friendship that has left me excited yet uneasy after reading. The tension is well elaborated by the author right from the beginning, introducing a seductress with a dark past moving into a quiet Florida neighborhood. I found myself routing for these two female friends who were in a race against time, trying to save their unsuspecting bachelor friend. In my view, it's difficult not to root for the characters involved with their complex motives. Romance, suspense, and amateur sleuthing all together give dimensions to this intrigue that one can't put down until the end. This book has really made me wonder how far people will go to protect the ones they love, and how terror can hide behind a mask of normality.

Love the plot!

Ever since I’ve heard of stories like Dirty John, I’ve always enjoyed this type of story where someone is motivated to marry and kill for money. This book certainly adds nice twist elements to it considering some people know what she’s up to and it makes for a really interesting plot.
