Not really suitable for audio format, Great in Kindle
This is a hands-on, how-to book with charts, tables and text filled illustrations. The AI reader is pleasant with only a few pronunciation missteps. The problem is that it methodically reads all of the charts and tables as well as the narrative instructional material. It would need to be reformatted completely for audio presentation with a lot more descriptive narrative to work well in an audio format. The content is very good. I also got this in Kindle format because I could see its value. The Kindle or physical book would be an excellent choice.

A Clear and Engaging Guide to Genealogy Research
Review of "Research Like a Pro" (Whispersync Audiobook)
I really enjoyed the reader for this audiobook. The clear and steady delivery made the content engaging and easy to follow. For me, the reader is often the dealbreaker when considering audiobooks, and this computer-generated one didn’t disappoint.
Reading nonfiction can be challenging in audio format, particularly when charts and graphs are involved. However, this book effectively conveyed the core ideas. The sentence near the end of the book sums it up perfectly: "Congratulations! You've worked your way through this book and learned how to take research from start to finish."
It’s a solid resource for anyone serious about genealogy. I appreciated how the audiobook maintained the practical, step-by-step tone that makes the print version so valuable. I have that, too, and would recommend both.
