Wonderful series of books expertly written
This set of five books chronicles the life of Ren Lewis, a man both encumbered and gifted with the ability to Dream Travel. In Book 1, we see Ren in his early days as a young boy in his family of origin and follow Ren through to Book 5 with the story of his final days. In between, we learn about his love for Dalia, his work at the Lucidite Institute and his daughter Adelaide. Ren is the type of person you love to hate, but is really a complex character who displays empathetic moments. I didn't pay too much attention to Ren's relationship with his father, but it's something I'll go back and listen to when I get a chance.
I have the audiobook version of this set. There are two things I would say about my experience listening to these audiobooks.
First, there is plenty of humor and lots of witticisms throughout; early on listening to Ren reminded me of reading Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. There is the same kind of dry humor in both and it's rare that I'd read something and chuckle.
Secondly, I don't remember how I wound up with the books, but I never really liked the paranormal genre and always steered clear of it. And now, I found myself listening to a series that I was fully engaged in right from the beginning. Dream Traveler Ren Lewis and Sarah Noffke may have won me over.
I think the books were masterfully written, with full attention paid to the necessary details of Ren's complex life and those around him. Tim Campbell does an excellent job of narration and the audio production is excellent. All told, a marvelous omnibus collection worthy of reading or listening to.

Glad I continued with the story

Unlike some stories Ren did not suck me in the from the beginning. It took me a while to get into this story and enjoy the character. Overall I'm glad I listened to this story in the box set rather than individually and I wouldn't be opposed to reading other stories featuring the other dream travelers. I enjoyed how Ren's character evolved while still maintaining his true characteristics. I'm glad I gave the story a chance.

Love Ren!!
Smug, cynical, and a complete ass, Ren tries to walk the world on his terms. Unfortunately for him, the world doesn't always bend to his will. A flawed...though don't tell him, character I just love!!

Great series.
I’m glad I gave this series a try. I love complete box sets. It’s great, especially when you just have to use 1 credit for the complete series!
The first book is a bit slow but the narrator was good so I kept listening. I’m glad I gave it a try because once the story picked up it was good.

Listen to this collection first
I wish I would have listened to this one before the Lucidite series. Now I’m going to listen to that one again. Love both Collections. Highly recommend them both.

Ren ❤️
Huge fan of Ren. The fact that Sarah has written him to be such an unlikable character is why I love this series so much. I listen to audiobooks at work and there were plenty of times Ren had me laughing and snorting. Coworkers and customers looked at me like I was a crazy person. I loved it! Recommend. I was given a free copy of this audiobook and now leaving this honest review.

The dry arrogant British humor is fantastic.
if you like humor, sci-fi techno thrillers and you should really like this one.

Love Good Box Sets!
It took me a few chapters to appreciate the main character’s arrogance/attitude! After I got into this guy & the story he became hilarious at times! I enjoyed this listen! Box sets are such a great value & the length allows you to get to know a number of characters! I only wished the last book would have been narrated by the same as the first 4! They came close to the original Ren & I did become used to the change.

Great Read
Ren Series, The Complete Boxed Set (Ren #1-5) was a great read by Sarah Noffke. This box set consists of; The Man Behind the Monster, God's Little Monster, The Monster Inside the Monster, The Monster's Adventure, and The Monster's Death. The Man Behind the Monster (Ran #1) was a good read by Sarah Noffke. Ben Lewis was born with the power to control minds, read people's thoughts, and hypnotize others. Ben knows that no one should be born with so much power. At ten years old, he received his gifts and a monster awoke within him. He allowed the powers to corrupt him. Ben knows that in order to find some peace, he must kill the monster. God's Littler Monster (Ren #2) was a good read by Sarah Noffke. Ben has everything he's always wanted but still feels miserable. He blames this on the monster buried inside him. He doesn't know that his life is about to be intensely transformed. With all this change he finds out how flawed and vulnerable he is. The Monster Inside the Monster (Ren #3) was a good read by Sarah Noffke. Ren feels like this next challenge will be the thing that undo's him. He discovers his daughter is hiding that she's pregnant. He avoids family responsibility by throwing himself into his work. The Monster's Adventure (Ran #4) was a good read by Sarah Noffke. A life altering event happens to Dahlia and Ben, and it makes him take a break from work and explore the West Coast with his family. Ben must endure regular traveling in a car since not everyone in his family can dream travel. Ben is visited by three wise women to come to terms with his past, present, and future. The Monster's Death (Ren #5) was a great read by Sarah Noffke. Ren is ready to prove that he's the most powerful man in the world. God makes a move to carve Ren's heart out for the rest of his life. He will do his best to outmaneuver God. The is the final part of Ren's evolution.
