Lots of great info
I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know about red light therapy until I listened to this audiobook! It’s incredibly well organized, easy to follow and packed with useful info. I love how clearly it broke down the science without being overwhelming and now I feel so much more confident using my own setup.

RLT guide
Well, if you are thinking on how to incorporate RLT in your life, this comprehensive guide is a must have. Indeed, it covers everything you need to know on RLT. It’s also advisable to get a kindle version because some concepts are not easy to listening, at least for me. But then again, that’s just me.
Potential positive effects include so many things - even improving mitochondrial function - what I didn’t know. Though some of these are not scientifically proven yet - and it is directly stated in this book, which, I guess, is a good thing. The section on RLT devices that you can use at home seems to be a proper first step to implement this advanced technology.

Much to Consider About Red Light Therapy
As a nurse, I'm always fascinated by new therapies proclaiming to do a lot, and I thought this book would be a good introduction to this particular modality, which I had never heard of. Despite its somewhat overblown subtitle, I thought the author actually did a decent job explaining red light therapy’s possibilities, sharing research to both bolster some claims and refute others. Usually, books like this only promote the good stuff. The author explained the potential benefits and also what you must be careful of, like protecting your eyes and using a red light therapy device at the appropriate distance. The author discusses whether to have this done by a dermatologist versus doing it at home. Even after listening to the book, I'm not quite sure if I'm wholly sold on it as a therapy, but I certainly know a lot more about it, including the pros and cons of the therapy itself as well as of different types of devices.
The narrator, unfortunately, was exceedingly disappointing. I recently listened to one other audiobook by her, and this book suffered the same faults. While I don't know for certain, I believe it is the narrator's responsibility to appropriately edit the sound files before being returned to the author and uploaded to Audible, but this narrator did not fully do so. In several places, you could hear her turning pages. In many more places, the narrator clearly made mistakes or was not pleased with how she said things, and so they were said again; the incorrect first one was not edited out. It wasn't bad at first but became increasingly worse as the book went along. I know Audible checks sound files before they get uploaded, and theoretically, the author should have listened to the entire book as well, so all these errors should have been caught and corrected before they came out in the version you download from Audible. Perhaps this review will motivate either Audible or the author to have the sound files corrected and re-uploaded so that the next person's experience is not quite as bad as my own. I certainly would not recommend anyone use this narrator until she learns to take the time to fully and completely edit her work.

A total game changer
I’m honestly blown away by this book! I already own like 4-5 RLT devices, but this audiobook took my understanding to a whole new level. It dives deep into the science but keeps everything super easy to follow, so whether you're new to red light therapy or already into it, there's a ton to learn. One of my fav parts was the breakdown of how it works at a cellular level: the mitochondria, nitric oxide, and all that. It really helped me understand why RLT actually works instead of just trusting the hype. Plus, the info on wavelengths is GOLD. I can’t wait to get out of the hospital so I can check if my devices are actually hitting the right wavelengths or if I need to upgrade for max results :) Also!!! I love that it covers safety concerns and practical usage. So many people just buy a device and hope for the best, but this book gives clear guidelines so you’re not just guessing. And the section on different conditions RLT can help with... If you’re even remotely interested in red light therapy, do yourself a favor and grab this audiobook before buying devices! The tech is amazing, and this book makes it so you can make better decision when buyin! absolutely worth it!!!

this is definitely worth exploring!
I had no idea light could help with so many things—skin, energy, pain relief, and even recovery. This made everything super easy to understand, from how red light works in the body to how to use it safely at home. It explained things step by step, so I never felt lost.
