About this listen

Sarah Cohen's "Recover From a Heartbreak: How to Get Past Your Breakup & Turn It Into the Best Thing That Ever Happened to You" isn't your typical breakup book that makes you cry your eyes out. Oh no, Sarah has something else in mind for you: a rollercoaster ride from heartbreak to empowerment, laced with a generous amount of humor and frank discussion. Forget about drowning in ice cream tubs or scrolling through old text messages at 2 a.m. Sarah Cohen has your back, transforming your breakup sadness into a flowering of self-discovery and belly giggles. Imagine sitting down with your wittiest, wisest friend, who has been through it all and is not only okay, but thriving. That's how it feels to listen to this book.

This book is like the fiery salsa to your bland post-breakup diet, filled with jaw-droppingly honest anecdotes, witty advice, and exercises that are truly entertaining (no eye-rolling!). Sarah does not simply urge you to "move on"; she takes your hand and guides you through the murky waters of post-breakup living until you're dancing in the rain of your newfound freedom. Sarah covers everything from detoxifying your life from your ex to rediscovering the hobbies that drive you. She'll have you planning your spectacular comeback while making peace with the past. It's more than just getting over someone; it's about becoming the version of yourself you've always wanted to be, with a little more sass and sparkle.

By the end of "Recover From a Heartbreak," you'll not only be over your ex, but also grateful for the detour that led you to your greatest self. So prepare for a transforming trip in which you will see your breakup as the plot twist that started you on the route to the best chapters of your life. Prepare to laugh, cry, and leap into your fantastic new life with Sarah Cohen as your guide on the other side.

Narrator is poor

Too many chapters and a lot unnecessary repetitive content. Recommended consolidation of material to improve flow and lessen repetitive content. Overall I would not recommend this book.
