Funny and Interesting
I was expecting to hear the same ole' same ole', but was pleasantly surprised at the creativity put into some of these questions. It had me laughing out loud several times, and I learned quite a bit. Not sure that I'll ever use what I learned, but nonetheless, I can tell you why we have 2 nostrils :)

Fun for kids
I listened to this with my kids in the car and it was a lot of fun. We like things like random facts so this was a fun little listen that kept us entertained. A lot of the things I really didn't know about.

A well written and interesting book
This is not your typical interesting fact book. Sixty eight facts and stories with sufficient, but not too lengthy of an explanation. … Did you know there are no rats in Alberta and why? Perfect to listen to when I was running and a good of trivia to share with friends.

Full of information
This was a delightful book filled with literally random facts and interesting stories! I found that this book was great when working with the kids that I worked with and sparked engaging conversation. Because it’s of the structure too, I like that each chapter or fact could be read on it’s own and I could really pick up the book whenever I felt like it or keep reading if for longer if that what I felt that day. I also liked that this book made me think of things that I’ve usually never pondered before about our world.

Charging mushrooms in sunlight?
If you read the sentence above then you’ll start to get the kind of vibe this title gives off–one of absolute intrigue that is very cleverly written and put together. Not only is this title full of funny facts that will have you and the whole family knee-slapping away, but it’s also immensely educational. I mean, just the segment on vitamin D alone was the equivalent of a chemistry class, except I actually wanted to listen and was completely captivated. Who knew that vitamin D was added in the 30s to help strengthen bones within the community–and this all coincides with sheep’s wool?! Yeah, it gets that weird and interesting.
In addition, the narrator is perfect for this title and keeps you listening and engaged without loosing your place or becoming distracted–he has a very engaging voice.
Phil Della is obviously a very knowledgeable writer who not only has done their homework, but delivers it to the reader/listener with such skill that it creates a page turner full of endless anticipation.
