About this listen

When the fae kidnapped Violet, they underestimated Arianna, Queen of the wolf shifters. There was literally nothing she wouldn't do to save her best friend. Which is why she sets out with her mate and pack of dominants to rescue the magic born from the fae lands.

As she expected, the Otherworld is fraught with danger, but there is one thing which takes her completely by surprise. A dark secret which could rock her world to its very foundation.

Arianna must now save her friend and herself, because the fae have been waiting for her, and she's just walked right into their trap.

The story is fun and keeps my attention, the characters are colorful. There is something always going on, I love it. And I swear this reader is one of the best. She is great with bringing the book alive and changing her voice to fit each character perfectly.

Addictive, I enjoyed the entire series and can't wait for the next book. Narrator speaks in choppy sentences and is a bit breathy but still worth the credit. you won't be disappointed

Yet another great book in the series. The authors are great at building a world in our world. Full of magic, shifters, fae and love - this book has it all. This book came to a nice conclusion while setting us up for the next book. It didn't leave on a cliff hanger, but it did let us know what the characters next adventure with be.

The narrator, again, did a wonderful job. It was smooth and the characters had defined voices. It was easy to listen to.

I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. But what irritated me was how everyone in 'the other world' called it 'the other world'. Why would they refer to their world as OTHER. At the very least they should call it 'this world', at most... they should have their own name for it.

**Spoiler Alert**
Then additionally, it felt inconsistent with the passing of time between worlds. It kept being mentioned that Kian was in the other world for 5 years. Surely if time passes slower in the other world, then it would be a fraction of that? If a few weeks in the other world is the equivalent of a few months on earth... then no more than a year should have passed for Kian. By extension, his son would still be a baby... only a few months old... and that's if his wife got pregnant straight away

Other than that, I loved how the story came together. I had long suspected that her mother was the red queen and her father fae. Was satisfying to see the way it all fell into place

Brilliant
